I'm 16 too. The only thing I spend my money on is computer parts though. So basically no job, no car, no money, no life, etc .
Cool, yea Im basically the same way. Except I have another hobby which is modding xboxs and riding motocross... both very expensive, shoot if I never started either Id have a 5k gaming rig! lol

Is there a date when the gt300 series is supposed to come out??

Between mid-November and December is the prescription.

the prices for the 4xxx cards are already low (4890 for 165 used on here) but ATi has said that they can drop the price of the 5850/5870 easily if needs be...

frankly i'd jump on the 4xxx series cards now.

How's that for a final disposition? Took me maybe ten minutes to find all of it.

Ok someone try to make an i5 build.. Also I dont need the antec 1200 as thats a really expensive case and Im looking to only spend 80$ max on a good case.

As for a video card, for now I've decided to go with the HIS 4890 Turbo+

Wow... that's uh... that doesn't work at all.
Phenom II 940 can't go on an AM3 board.
4770's are rip-offs now.
It's a Phenom II platform... Crossfire on a 790X?!

OP, you already got the answer in that TechReport article. Just switch out the case for something cheaper, utilize combo deals, ditch the sound card, and you have a kickass i5 build for well under $850.
