Default My First Build

Hello I am building my first rig any suggestions?

HAF 922 cooler master case (got it already)
V8 Coolermaster cpu cooler (got it cheap)
asus P6T deluxe V2 (got it already)
Corsair 1000 w hx PSU (got it)
nztx sentry tempature controler (got it)
artic silver 5 thermal paste ( got it)
intel i7 920 ( need)
Ram looking to go with corsaird dominador but which one ???
TR3X6G1600C7D or TR3X6G1600C8D or TR3X6G1866C9DF
for hard drive I am not sure to go for WD caviar black 1Tb
seagate barracuda 1TB 7200.12
velociraptor 300gb
graphics card will be ati sapphire 5870
monitor maybe a 24" since i am a graphic designer I need a big monitor
what am I missing ?

If you have a Microcenter near by they have i7 920 D0's cheap.

For the Hard Drive:

Word of advice, don't forget the standoffs. It's a common mistake made from first time builders, and can cause much grief.

For your RAM I think I would advise the G.Skill Trident 2000mhz as they are pretty reasonabley priced and can be tightened to CAS 6 timings at 1600mhz.

For your Hard Drives I would suggest getting 2 x 640gb WD Caviar Blacks and setting them up in RAID0, they should offer plenty of space with good performance too.

I recently purchased a 24" Samsung Ultrasharp monitor and cannot recommend it enough, its the 2408WFP model and I'm really really impressed with it, so I would recommend a Dell Ultrasharp anyday.
