Default new to building, first rig. Suggestions?

I just built my first computer and it will be mostly used for gaming and the internet, nothing school related. Tell me what yall think

Processor: Quad-core Q9650 3.0GHz (775 socket type, this is a 775 computer)
RAM: DDR3 1600 Kingston hyperX (8 gigs)
Powersupply : 1000 watts
Graphics card(s): XFX HD-5870, will be going into crossfire soon but have 1 for now
Harddrive: seagate 1 tera
Motherboard: ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe/WiFi
Soundcard: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer
Cooling: V8 coolmaster for the processor, kingston fans for the ram, 1 for my harddrive, 2 case fans and 1 i need to install.

two 23" monitors, G-15 gaming keyboard, and some gaming logitech mouse

you should go to User CP> Add system and fill out your system specs there. it will put all your system info in your sig for future posts and will help us help you. :-)

Some cases have little bumps in them that act as standoffs (as mine did). In which case you don't need to worry about putting standoffs in the case, but more often then not, you will need standoffs.

yeah my case came with some in a bag so im guessing it doesnt have pre-installed or whatever you wanna call them

Yea, most cases will come with them. :-) make sure you put one for every screw hole in your MOBO. ;-)

edit: also, make sure you put your info in like i said. :-)

The V8 is a good cooler...but if you are looking to save a little bit of money then you can go with something like a Xigmatech Dark Knight instead.
