Default $2000 high-performance machine, what do you think?

I am playing around with this build, tell me what you think:

Get 2 HD5870's and a Corsair PSU such as the HX1000 or the 850w version at least along with a Gigabyte board! Get 8GB Ram as well. And SDD's! Raid 0.

2x WD 640GB instead of a single 750.

Don't cheap out on the case, there's alot of hot stuff in there. I'd recommend the Antec 300 Illusion.

Just getting the one HD5870 is topping out my budget anyways. I can't afford 2. and changing to the rest of those things would be a completely different build :P

That case won't cool properly. And do you really need W7 ultimate? (unless its the same price as the other versions).

That should be $1300 tops. Also, the cooler is too weak, the case is too cheap and won't provide adequate airflow, the hard drive is slow and overpriced, the memory is... alright... but overpriced... and you're just missing out on a lot and wasting a lot of money.
5870 - $360
6GB OCZ Platinum 1600 - $100 - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001IT2E42
i7 920 + EVGA X58 LE - $500 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.266040
Cooler Master V8 CPU Cooler - $55 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103055
Cooler Master HAF 932 + 700W Modular PSU - $215 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.276117
1TB F3 (fastest HDD on the market) - $75

Total: Under $1300.
And that build is quite a bit better than what you had in every way.
Use Google Shopping!

Edit edit edit edit: The above build has one of the nicest, roomiest cases money can buy, a top-notch 700W PSU (with the coolest cables ever), a high-end CPU cooler (not quite as good as a Megahalems, but looks better!), a blazing fast HDD, and a great, highly overclockable mobo that matches all the hardware perfectly... None of which you'd be getting in your original build.
