Default when overclocking cpu

if you overvolt it till it frys can it fry other componants on the mobo?

no no,just would like to push it to its limits,but if it will kill the mobo i think id rather not

Keep in mind I am no expert at overvolting. I know there are several risks involved for your GPU. I was purely theorizing when I said it could damage your mobo because adding voltage to the GPU could short it and cause a system failure. The likeliness of this happening is unknown to me.
