I found out a week ago that installing an Operating System onto a second partition decreases performance, once I fixed that and installed it onto the first I noticed a pretty dramatic increase in performance and stability.
My question is that if I install games onto the second partition will this cause lack of performance as it did to my operating system before? (I partition a drive for my operating system so it is easier to defrag)

I've got windows on first partition, programs (itunes, openoffice, etc etc) on 2nd partition, games on 3rd partition, and documents/media on a 4th partition...
And my FPS's have no ping issues or FPS issues -- AFAIK... or at least as far as I can tell. So, no, you shouldn't see performance issues, just don't put the pagefile on the same partition as your games.
