Default Help with upgrade.

Ok. I have looked at i7 setup which is going to run me about 1500 dollars for what i want, and i have looked at a q9650 setup that would run me about 1200 dollars.

Now Im interested to see what cheaper alternative there is so I can weigh my options. So I want to see what you guys would suggest as a cheaper upgrade from what I have already. just main components obviously. dont really know what im willing to spend so that doesnt help much. but lmk know what your thinking.

At this moment I have a asus M2N-E SLI mobo, amd 5400 series cpu, 8800gt gpu. I want to upgrade.

Welcome,

Can you give us some indication on the components you have in this setup, that you are looking at? That will give us a chance to look at what you thinking about and suggest alternates

eg mobo, hds etc
