Hi everyone,
__________________Anybody have an idea to how well this Processor can overclock?? I just ordered one and am currently awaiting its arrival. Its going to take the place of my Intel Dual Core E2200 (not that there's anything wrong with it). Thanks to all for the help, Mike

I went from an E2180 @ 3.4ghz to an E5200 @ 3.64ghz and it made virtually no difference. I paid $50 for each chip (at different times)

E5300 is a great dual core cpu,
I own E5200 as 'exad' imo, with different cooling method and different mobo chipset, result can be different. My E5200 is oced to 3GHz on G31 mobo with stock cooling. I've seen ppl reaching 4ghz with decent air cooling. If you own an aftermarket cooler you will have no problem getting it at 4ghz.

my processor is overclocked to 3.9 ghz at the moment. It is being cooled with a 'Pentium 4 Socket LGA-775 Copper Heatsink CPU Cooler Fan' with 'Copper Pipes'

The E5300 if you have the right motherboard, cooling etc. That CPU cooler is for LGA775 P4s, which ran hotter than a E5300 would run. I'd reccomend you get a good CPU cooler like a Scythe Mugen 2 atleast if you plan on going 3.2GHz+.
I had my E5300 at 3.8GHz with no problems.
