Girlfriend Build
I'm thinking about building my girlfriend a PC. It will be used for
-Browsing the internet (Facebook / Bank Account) -Music Occasionally -Viewing her digital camera photos. any suggestions? I was thinking maybe an Atom PC?

Any cheap 15inch laptop (looking at nice pictures on a small screen sucks, hence the idea of a Netbook would blow).

About six months ago, I built my GF a PC using some spare parts and cheap ones I found online. It had my old e6400 with 2x1GB Crucial Lanfest RAM (She still doesn't know how special that is to this day
__________________ ) and a 7300 for basic video. Cost me about $300 at the time, but it was worth it.You could also get a laptop for her if she's going to college soon, but choose carefully; there are a lot of duds out there. Finally, I have a system for sale if you want to look at it, or even call dibs on some parts; might part it out soon.

Sounds like a netbook with a hard drive with sufficient space for her music would be all she needs.
