Default New Computer Build

Hi, i am looking to build a new computer soon.. It's been a while and im a little out of the loop, I dont care which intel or amd, but i am leaning towards a 5850 for a video card, other than that i have a monitor, keyboard ect.. And i also have a cd/dvd drive so i don't need that just the main parts for the computer.. My budget is about a grand, and i use my computer for gaming, cheaper is always better though!@! thanks for the help .. !!

You might want to take alook at the LGA1156 Core i7's, that might fight your budget and allow you to go with a HD5850.

Instead of the 5800 card, you know it's gonna be outdated in a few weeks probably, just buy two 4770 cards. That's what I'm using, just one though.

Single - Radeon 5850 - $300

Crossfire - Radeon 4770 - $230

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150369

If you're looking for a really good system for a reasonably good price, go for this card. It's not the top of the line, but one plays Fallout 3 on ultra high settings (factory settings, no OC.)
