Default $3000 Dream Build

Okay, I will finally have the money for my build by the end of the month and i would love to hear everyones suggestions.

The rig will not be used for gaming ( much anyways).

Things that i would prefer but am really flexible:

Liquid cooling
DDR3 Ram
A fairly quite system
Windows 7 premium

I am sure there are some other things but i cannot thing of them right now.

I am willing to wait a month or two if there is something coming out soon that would be worth waiting for.

Also, the size of the case does not matter either, well that is unless it requires a two wheel dolly to move around, that might be too much.

Thanks for everyone's replies. And thanks to everyone on this forum, it has helped me learn quite a bit reading through the posts.

What I'd do:

i7 920 D0
eVGA X58 Classified
Kingston HyperX 2000MHz Tri-channel RAM
Corsair HX850 PSU
Cosmos S case
Two SSDs in RAID for the OS and a 640GB WD Caviar Black drive for storage
Random Optical drive
3 5870s in Tri-fire

Water cooling:

Heatkiller 3.0
MCP 655 pump
Thermochill 120.3 (the best for quiet fans pretty much)
1/2" barbs
Swiftech Micro Res or EK 100 res
San Ace H101 fans on a fan controller
Tygon 1/2" tubing

Something along those lines are what I'd go for with that ungodly budget.

But if you were determined to build it now, I would suggest investing in a large number of SSDs in raid(I don't know which kind of raid)

There are also no such games that require that kind of power.

I'm not upgrading for a long time, PC is fine.

Yes, a few years is a long time to be running the same computer. Better to spend those numerous years on a fast computer than on a slower one.
