Hello, since my old computer died I came up to build a new one.

Probably something like this:

Asus Triton 88
Asus P6T Mobo
Corsair Dominator 6GB 1600Mhz + Dominator Fan
Antec 1200
Antec Truepower TP-750
Asus 275 GTX in SLI
Club 3d Theatron Agrippa
Random dvd burner

Get a different cpu cooler. The Megahalems is currently tied with the IFX for the best air cooler.

also, i am not a fan of the antec PSU's. get a good corsair HX psu.

Actually chose the cooler because I like the blue skin and read some pretty good reviews, who said it was comparable to the Mugen 2. But yeah, if the 88 is really worse than the Megahalems, I guess I have to go for that one.

And the PSU, yeah, I think the Corsair one will be better.

hd 5870, it has directx11 and will get even faster when drivers come out. it is already equal to or faster than gtx295, (essentially two 275's sandwiched in one card) and can only get a lot better with driver improvements. Also, directx11 has multithreading, which the core i7 loves. I've done some directx SDK benchmarks and get a free 10-35 fps boost when turning on multithreading.
