New to Overclock.net
|
I am planning on buying these memories Patriot Sector 5 PGV34G1600ELK 4GB DDR3 2X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 9-9-9-24.
I wonder if the fact that it has 9 clocks would limit my overclocking (core i5 with a p55-UD3R Gigabyte mobo), and would like to know how much would it limit me, if at all.. Thanks! |

No it wouldn't, only if you lower/tighten the timings though.

The answer depends on a lot of things. You will get a very very very litte performance increasement over stock, you even won't notice it or it will be worse than it was. To proof it here's a review: Link Especially you need this page: Gaming performance
