Default Next F@H CPU?

I'm going to be selling my current 775 combo and upgrading near December. I'm getting either an AM3 rig or an i5. Now I have to decide which to go with! Here are the combos I can get (that are in the price range I can pay and are available to me).

i5
Asrock P55 Extreme
Core i5 750
2x2GB DDR3 1600MHz Corsair

Phenom II
M4A78T-E
Phenom II 955
2x2GB DDR3 1600MHz Corsair

Which one would get me the best F@H SMP client performance?

I'm going to overclock, most likely under water. Which one will use the less power at the maximum frequency for stock voltage?

Thank you!

That would be an additional U$170, which I just can't invest on a CPU right now. Thought Hyperthreading had no effect in Folding?

Well, the i5 750 has a TDP of 95W and the 955 has a TDP of 125W.

Honestly, I would go for the AMD because of the IMC and other neat little features.

Doesn't the i5 have an IMC too? Thought it had, or is that only i7?
