looking for some oldschool video card help here. as you can see i have a 9250 and I'm tryingto get a little better work out of it.
__________________so far I have been ablet to get the GPU to 300mhz from 240mhz and the heatsink became hot with the passive cooling so I took the fan from m P5b and hooked that up now it stays cool as can be but still the freq will not go up without getting massive artifacts. so I'm taking it at this time it is a vmod that needs to be done. any idea how or where I would go to do so?

how do you have a 9250 working on that MOBO?
isnt 9250 exclusivley AGP? edit: nevermind thje above you will probably need to do a video card BIOS mod, and have you tried using ATI tool?

Ati tools and Ati Tray tools both only let me go up so far though. granted the card works for some games and hell I even play oblivion on it using the oldblivion hack but untill I can afford to buy another video card this needs to do.

under the settings in ATI tool you can disable the "clock safety range"
that will allow you to set the clocks higher

it's not that. I can go up higher then 300 the problem though is I start getting artifacts really bad. It's not a cooling issue as the heatsink is very cool to the touch. only thing I can think of is either just not able to thought I have seen quite a few get up higher then this or it just needs more volts.
