Ok, so my mobo will only allow me to increase the voltage to 1.40 in the current bios, and according to ECS, it will probably be a while before my board sees a bios update with anything higher than that. They stated in an email that they are going to work out any remaining bugs/glitches in the board/bios with the current enhancements before increasing things and creating more problems... understandable, although I'm very impatient.
I know that I can acheive much higher clock speeds than what I have currently hit ( my max was 3.20 @ 1.410v ) because as of right now, with an OC of 3.13-3.19 the cpu is running at 18'C idle to 32'C loaded. And I know that my components (CPU & RAM are totally capable of much higher speeds) So aside from waiting for another BIOS update, what other options do I have? Are there any programs available to adjust voltage from windows? Or how involved is making on-board modifications to increase voltage? Any and all help here is greatly appreciated! Also, I just read today in MaximumPC that the AMD Quad-Core's will have adjustable voltages from the OS! Mainly just to turn down voltage/speeds on the cores you dont need, but it read as though the opposite is true as well! I cant wait for the 4core cpus.

It is possible to increase voltages through mods on the mainboard. You might want to check vr-zone.com out for those. They have alot of voltmods there.

Cool, thanks. Now, do you know if these mods are pretty much just replacing capacitors & what-not? I am quite skilled at soldering, thats no problem at all. I suppose I need to find someone who knows whats up when it comes to that stuff... I highly doubt anyone has done any mods to the mainboard I have. Well, anyone who has done it and posted anything about it online that is.
Do you know anyone here @ Overclock.net that is front-n-center when it comes to V-mods? I'd like to stick here at home to get my info if possible. I guess I could make some other posts in some other areas of the site huh? Thanks again gonX.

These mods usually mean connecting certain points with conductive material.
