hi
__________________thanx for ur replies .I saw the article in vr zone .sorry for being lame but i dont have either a potentiometer or a multimeter.but i found out the chip responsible for Vgpu.so does that mean if i pencil mod the resistor connected between pin4 and ground ill be able to increase Vgpu.

Yes it will, but you need a multimeter to tell you how much pencil to use.. If you shade to much and get the resistance of the resistor to low you will burn your card up.

hi
__________________guys got the correct resistance .Its the resistor R549 connected to U503 IC. Got it by trial and error.Shaded the resistor and got my core to jump to 640 from 540 using ati tool.my temp is 82 at full util,is it ok? this temp i got from stressing the card with atitool.and i used a 6B pencil for shading.following is the pic for the resistor http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/1...8nw3kl7is3.jpg this was the maximum clock i got before artifacts turned up in atitool .then using nibitor i edited my bios and put my default clock to 640/470 and my Vid as 1.5v and flashed it to my bios

Does anyone know how to do this on the newer design of the circuit board? I have read multiple forums but they all show the older design of the board. Thanks for any input
