simple maybe...but its dangerous..with capitol 'D'
You can fry everything if you foul up... Only mod i would even consider w/ these mobo's is the Vdroop mod to fix the vcore droop....this is essential if you have subzero temps and plan on over a 4ghz clock speed. <- I set my vcore as high as the mobo will allow..1.7v just to get to 4ghz w/ my cpu. It still droops almost .7v at that speed, [1.63vcore effective] which is too much of a droop to remain stable at that speed. *the vdimm modd isnt really needed, unless you want to blow up your RAM lmao!

you want the resistance across the cap to drop to about 14.5kOhms in order to have very little vdroop. you will need a 'B' pencil be it anywhere from 2B to 8B. sometimes HB pencils work but not recommended as they are not very pure in graphite content. all the pencil mods are here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=116574
