I wonder if the pencil trick would work for that?

Wow.. That looks like a soldering job from hell. Cards now-a-days are SO much more easier to volt mod than that.

This additional resistor provides 120Ohm
I THINK that's what they are.

It seems preety simple for two reasons: the voltage regulator is much simpler than nowadays 14 pins chips, and the Vmem doesn't even need one.

For the Vmem, if you can't find any way to raise Vagp I can't see how to do it. You could Vmod the PSU so that it puts 3.6V on the 3.3V rail, but that's too risky, 'cause all the mobo components would be overvolted.

For the Vcore I would still pick a variable 20K ohm resistor, put it on max (20k), solder it and afterwards decrease slowly its resistance. At every half turn you should measure the Vcore, and after each 5% increase in Vcore you should test it. These card don't have thermal monitoring, so they can toast quickly.

EDIT: The resistor that has the same value as the resistance between the two pins. Measure the resistance between the pins, follow the traces on the PCB and you'll find the guilty.
