Default 8600gts volt mod

If i v mod my 8600 will it always have to run at the oc speeds or can i return it to defualt with the raised voltage? also can i use just a normal pencil instead of conductive ink?

It can run at stock speeds with the vmod with no problems. I prefer the pencil to the conductive pen; I kept overvolting with the pen and with the pencil I could adjust the voltage with more control.
