Couldn't think of where to post this, but I'm betting most of the gurus browsing here would know a thing or two about this.
I need to convert the PWM signal sent to fuel injectors into a 0-5v signal. The signal varies in pulse width as well as the frequency of pulses and I need the voltage to go up as a function of the frequency and width. (This would basically translate the PWM signal into a voltage fuel load signal) Also the pulse is created through grounding, it's a constant voltage to the injector which is then grounded over and over. If someone knows a relativly easy way to do this that would be awesome. Buying a chip and wiring it up would qualify as easy. A friend believes this chip http://www.national.com/ds/LM/LM2907.pdf may be able to do it but is not sure and not 100% sure it would work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've exhausted all my other options.

a resistor, capacitor and simple voltage divider network would do exactly what you need let me draw something up...
Is this for data logging reasons?

It would be for WIS control. Like I said I'm no electronics engineer, but will that really work? Isn't there some sort of logic and counting required?
