Default Need help: Vdroop on P5ND2-SLI

Hey everyone,

Lapped my CPU and heatsink last night and ran Orthos to see max load temps...and noticed a pretty bad Vdroop...

Idle: 1.344V
Load: 1.264V

Would a pencil mod be the best way to go? What resistor(s) do I need to look for and shade? Thanks in advance!

Hit a wall at 3.75 GHZ, I believe it's due to Vdroop...running extended Orthos now for stability...

Help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Do NOT do a vdroop mod.

Theres longterm studies that have shown that they do extensive damage to the board.

Vdroop is intentional and if you have the CPU running at the same high-end voltage the entire time its going to ruin both the CPU and the Mobo if not just the Mobo itself.

You did turn off that feature in BIOS that manages the voltage right? I can't think of the name of the feature right now but it should be listed under the chipset functions...EISA I think?

I thought I did, but I had to reset CMOS a few times messing with the memory, may have forgotten to disable it again (if I have the option...don't remember and I'm at school right now...) I 'll check it when I get home...
