I have been doing enough mods to justify this purchase..

Its a Hakko 936 Solder Station, with needle tip..adjustable to 50W. Its a ceramic heat element for precise control and temp adjustment..

Needless to say.. I am in love!!

Its a heck of a bargain for any modders out there looking for a good station setup.. Cost me 89.00$ at Fry's..and 5$ for the needle tip.

...I know my hardware is scared as all hell now! ROFL

What tips do you use for that?

I use the 1mm long needle point, for most of my ic work..the standard tip, included in the box is like a 3mm tip, which is fine for most stuff...just not fine detail work.

woohoo.. your going to be very pleased..the overall quality of these stations is superb for the $$..better deals, simply do not exist.
