Default Case fans start after pressing PSU on switch but CPU fan doesn't

A few days ago my computer decided not to turn on. After investigating, I plug in the PSU power cord and then switch it to on....the case fans (top and rear) turn on and then everything turns off and everything becomes non responsive. Front power button doesn't turn the computer on. After I unplug the PSU power cord and then flip the switch back on the same thing happens again.

Can anyone help me with this problem? What is going on and what do I need to do to fix it?

Thanks...

Try clearing CMOS. Clearing CMOS forces the board to scan connected hardware and update stored info and may solve the problem.

Here's my take on it from most likely to least likely: 1. The power switch on the case has died or has become unplugged. To test this, short out the 2 power pins on the mobo. If it turn on then your switch has probably gone bad. 2. Your PSU has taken a dump. To test this theory, try a different PSU. Hope this helps.
