never seen a memory controller on the otherside of a card but on this one:
http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k2...8small-1-1.jpg anyone know which middle (top or bottom) is the vmem solder point?

Just make sure you double check the resistance value.

I started well above what was suggested for VRs and worked my way down until I noticed changes, isn't there a way to calculate resistance based on the voltages and resistance in the two points though?

Quote:
When selecting your VR, you measure the resistance of the mod point. Then you multiply that value by 20. That is the approximate size VR you'll need.

Okay I am ready to Vmod my GPU and RAM. I fortunately have the Samsung as oppossed to what I previously thought
. I would like some insight from those who have sucessfully accomplished this mod. I heard that certain solder points can achieve a lower temp than other points. I am seeking some input before I delve into this project. Thanks in advance![]() 1k VR for Vgpu right? And what size should I use for Vmem and OCP?

The mod point has nothing to to with temperature exspect for the fact that you will be increasing voltage and clock and thus creating more watts that will have to be moved. Cooling is up to you.
First you need to take a DMM and test the resistance between the points marked in these pics and ground. Set DMM to 200K. http://www.kirikoo.net/images/6fredo...424-174557.jpg http://www.kirikoo.net/images/5fredo...424-170121.jpg Pics are from the source D0c linked above.

Thanks for the PIX!
Vmem=.615k Vgpu=1.502k What type of cooler do you recommend for air, AC?
