Thanks H3||scr3am No worries about machine faults because honestly I think most teams have already had issues. Each GPU Team thread I've read someone has seemed to have an issue. Balls to the wall folding on this competition seems to have us pushing limits of hardware a times. It's all good
That's what I am all about too. I hope we can hit 15k PPD between the two of us.....we should be set then.

[QUOTE=Ictinike;5723469]Not quite sure the first WU back gave me the 12 but it's hovering now in your same 9-10k range on the 420's. I have my shader strap @ 1620 but stock core/memory so I think we are fairly even. I may try to bump up the shaders some more today and see if she's stable.

Say i increase the shaders, do i need to increase the core as well to make it stable?

You may however for folding only shaders matter. You may have to give it more voltage to get a higher strap however but of course now your potentially adding hardware damage into the mix.

I'm leaving my core/memory stock as the core overclocks fine but adds to heat. Now I'm running 648/1674/1242(x2) and it's fine. Might add some voltage to her using EVGA's voltage tuner app and see if I can get another strap or two out of these shaders.

You gotta wait it out till they add 55nm support, as I am in the same boat as you.

Oh yea I forgot that it didn't support 55nm yet Doh!

Oh well, 1674 strap it is and she's stable so for now, 9-10k PPD is fine

That's if no 511s get in there.....otherwise I'd be at 9k too.

Aye! Those silly 511's throttle everything

I like these new 420's tho.. Smooth as silk until someone at Stanford decides they are too smooth and bork's something up, lol.
