New Team? 4890 Folders?
With GPU2 so obviously streamlined for ATI and the 4890 being a PPD machine, I was thinking we should start a team.
[try not to miss the sarcasm] Sarcasm aside, though, I think it would be pretty neat to have a few 4890 folders sitting in last place with dignity! Who knows, maybe GPU3 will unlock the 4890's hidden folding abilities! Let me know if you're interested. If you're interested, post your folding name so I can check up on your stats!

Would love to join but alas; i only hve 2 4870's since the 4890 was not out when i built my box. Do know what you mean about these ati cards being PPD monsters :l

You only need to change the name if you have more than one client running. This way the scores can be counted for one username that represents ONE GPU client. Hopefully that makes sense,lol.  Edit: Oh and welcome! I hope you can get a team of ATI guys together, that should be fun!

I have two 4890's, a 9800GTX, and my i7 all folding for tnalley27.
If I were to switch one of the 4890's over to another user name, could I just use that to total them but still add them to tnalley27 when it comes to actual points? I wanna get as high up there as I can!

If you move one of your 4890's to another username it won't count under your tnalley27 anymore. Though with what you have currently folding for that name, and the MASSIVE amounts of PPD the 4890 is getting currently I don't think you will see that large of a hit.

Moving the name for one card will make it no longer count to your main name. I don't think you'll miss it though,lol. I suggest a name like tnalley27_COMP or tnalley27_GPU, so it's easy to know which is which,lol.
