The 7900GTO 512 MB is a card that has just been thrown out by eTailers. ZZF, TD and MWave have blown through them and they are getting in short supply. They are not being made anymore, either, so when they are gone, they are gone.

They consistently outperform the 7950 GT. Basically, they amount to downclocked 7900GTX's - everything else is pretty much the same. Can be had for $240 after MIR from TD right now.

I would place them below the 7900GTX but above the 7950 GT. Not sure if it should be above the 1900XT. It splits benchies with that card depending on the game.

Does Pixel Shader 3.0 support change the ratings? I mean the X700 is rated higher than the 7300GS. X700 has more pipes and more shaders. The 7300 supports PS3 and X700 supports PS2. How does that affect the ratings?

The 7300GS will be rate higher in terms of its features...because SM3 is indicitive of how advanced the GPU is.
