I was always under the impression that the 7900GTX beat the X1900XT but not the XTX. Any proof of this?

Thats how it is. The 7900GTX is a close match with the X1900XT and XTX but it ends up losing to the XTX in most things.

The top should read in this order, in my opinion:

8800GTX
8800GTS
8800GTS 320MB
7950GX2
X1950XTX
X1900XTX
7900GTX
X1900XT 512MB

7900GT 512MB

There are some definite errors. You had the X1950XT > X1900XTX which is wrong.
