Even with a DX10 agp card I doubt you will run DX10. You might want to upgrade your pc.

a very big NO
Dx10 GPU's require a full x16 PCI-E slot to work, AGP simply isn't upto it so will never appear on AGP

Get a new mobo with a cheaper cpu and overclock it. It is a better choice.

Your system is quite out of date now. I'm sorry but you'll have to do a major upgrade before you could ever run DX10

I'm pretty sure there will be a DX10 AGP card. I'm not sure about the claim above "Dx10 GPU's require a full x16 PCI-E slot to work" and I'd like to see a link or two to where it says that? No offence, but it doesn't ring true for me.
The bottom line is that if there is a market for it, a card will be produced. People have been saying "AGP is dead" for ages and yet we have cards like the X1950Pro and the 7800GS for AGP, which, if AGP had died when people first started saying so, shouldn't exist for AGP at all... My feeling on the issue is that people are not upgrading to PCI-E fast enough for hardware producers. This leaves a fairly big segment of the market still running AGP and wanting to upgrade their card's, but not their motherboards/whole PCs. So, the previously mentioned cards are produced to sell to this market. I would imagine that the same thing will happen with DX10. A portion of the market will still want to stick with AGP, but will want access to DX10. This will create a market for DX10 AGP cards that one of the card makers will fill with an over-priced product that people will buy, rather than upgrade to a DX10, PCI-E alternative. Highly-Annoyed

As I've said time and time again, the AGP bus was never fully used. PCIe came out before the high-end cards could max out the bus. There is still extra bandwidth available, and a low or even mid-grade DX10 card could still run very well. I can find you proof of my statement, but I'd like to see some proof of yours. EDIT: Sorry, that was a bit brash.... I'm just frustrated with misinformation. No hard feelings?
