Default SLI compaire to 8800gtx?

Are there any SLI options that would compare to a single 8800gtx, but be cheaper in price?

He said cheaper, No SLI solutions are available that are cheaper for the same performance of a single GTX, you can get the same performance but it costs waaaaay more.

two 7900gtx come close in some benches as well (I had a pair of 7900gtx until I sold them here in December). In all the benches except 3dmark06, the numbers were close. the 8800gtx was better on the top bench.

You should be able to pick up a pair on ebay very cheap

Are you missing a few bits in your cerebrum? Yes 2x 8800GTS are faster than a single GTX, but the post did mention specifically.....CHEAPER!
