Default Need help on comparing 2 video cards.

Well here's the deal. I bought one of these (7600GT evga 256mg).
Well the thing is I need to sell it because I got it for a friend to put in his lil brothers pc, and push comes to shove, his mother board is fried. So I haven't even been able to see the vid card work at all. It's still brand spakin new. I need help comparing this 7600GT 256 to an ATi X800 Pro. I am gonna sell this for $90 to my dad (who has the X800) only if he'll notice much of a gain in performance. If not I'll head off to the for sale section here at ocn. So would it be worth it if I sold it to my dad? $90 even. I paid 95.83 to the door.

Well 7600GT > or < X800 Pro?

the 7600 is 8 cards better than the 800pro on this scale, not to mention that sm3.0 is just a requirement now... on top of which, i do believe that the 7600gt can be volt modded rather easily...

the 7600gt is the better choice in all aspects

I think texture fill rate and shader operation is far more important than memory bandwidth and pixel fill rate

7600GT got much better score in 3dmark as well

7600GT can beat X800 pro easily, it more comparable to X850XT in terms of performance
