![]() GPU-Z does not read it as 256 bit. I still cannot confirm even though every time i ask why it doesn't say this but XFX keeps telling me it is 256 bus bandwidth but 128 bit memory. whatever, it the same thing as the 7900, and i paid for the 7900. IMO it's all good. It overclocks like a beast but temps get too hot so i keep it at stock. and the difference is negligible from 675 to 800 Mhz, but if i do 740 there is a difference. I recommend upgrading the cooling, and getting ram heatsinks, especially for the backside RAM, since it is never covered, then crank it up to 38 GB memory bandwidth and double the fillrate! then you have a beast.

Update on my RMA, it took a month from the date they received it to get one back to me. They sent one with new HS clips, plus a beat up heatsink, I was disappointed because I sent mine in, in mint condition.

I have to RMA my 8800GTS 640MB card again, and this time eVGA is shipping me out an 8800GT 512 MB. How's that for customer service?

Alright, just to update, I RMA'd my 7900GT to BFG, and got an 8800 GTS 640 mb OC 2 back.
I may be RMA'ing a 7900 GT to XFX, so I will let you folks know how that goes. Also, has any one tried to register a card they received from RMA (through BFG). They ask me for a proof of purchase, despite the fact that they gave me no invoice with the 8800GTS.

If anyone has to ever RMA a Gigabyte card, or Gigabyte anything, well, my best advice is:
Don't. Failure of an RMA service. Utter patheticness. Worst thing. They don't do anything. They'll recieev it, send it back working or not, without telling you anything.
