I thought the 4870 spanks the 9800GX2. Man I've seen so many reviews I dunno which one to believe.

You know you left an oldie but goodie off the list
 . And by oldie, I mean REALLY OLD.The Nvidia Vanta series . I don't know how many of them were released, but I've got a 1MB, 4MB and 16MB versions of it.And I may have missed it, but do you have any Trident branded video cards on the list? I don't remember seeing them either .

Yeah 3870X2 > 4850, I have both
The 4850 is a screamer, but falls behind my X2 when the going gets tough.
