ok what about the 9500GT. i ask cause im unsure whether 8800 gt is better or the new 9500gt and is much cheaper.

The 8800GT is quite a bit better. The 9500GT is around the 8600GTS range.

hmmm im pretty sure the 8800gts 320mb was better than the 2900xt. well its was on toms hardware guide.

8800gts 320mb = 1827
2900xt = 1751

because most of these cards will shine better with some games than other.

You should RMA and get a ATi 4870X2 they should be about £280 - £360 It will destroy a 280GTX
