Also the HD2900pro is slower than the 8800GTS 640. The 8600GT DDR3 is comparable to the 7800GT yes, but the 8600GT DDR2 is comparable to the 6800GT.

The 7900GTX is faster than the x1900XT and the x1900XTX. It ties the x1950XT but looses to the x1950XTX.

The 8600GTS is faster than the x1950pro and equals closer to the 7950GT.

The 4670 beats the 3850 80% of the time also

The fixes to the FX series have to do with modern preformace in games.
