Default Graphics Card Ranking (3rd time's a charm...)

The original Graphics Card Ranking Thread ( http://www.overclock.net/graphics-cards-general/54675-graphics-card-ranking.html ) was so influential, and brought a lot of members here to OCN. I decided it would be a great idea to revive the idea with all the updates and such, with the rest of OCN's help of course With the approval of the staff the old thread has been closed and will now be redirected to this one.

Now, I put the newer cards in an order that me and a couple guys thought on chat would be good as a starting point, though are definitely available to be moved around, since I am sure people here know more than I do

If you want a cards rank changed you must provide benchmarks or other evidence to back it up

Credit to J3r3my for the original thread and to the many, many OCN members who have contributed in some way to this list.

This going to be kinda hard....

The x2900xt has more meory bandwith, while the 8800gtx has more shader power.

I can see giant wars startng because some are better depending on the game....

For most questions regarding the standpoint of all cards Pre-8800gt and HD3870 should be directed to the last thread on this.

Thank you.

Edit: And I have stated, that anyone with valid benches amd proof can easily change the position of the card.

This is mainly decided by you guys, not me...I am simply the guy to keep it organized and everything

Well you can put the x850xt PE above the 8600GT, I've owned both cards and the 8600GT can't even compare to the raw power of the x850xt, at higher resolutions it even beats out an 8600GTS sometimes.

It depends on the application...

The x850 has more memory bandwith while the 8600gt has more shader power.

These threads just simply do not work....

We should include CF/SLI comparison so some can decide whether or not to get 2 cheaper cards or 1 expensive card.

is the 8600 really better than a 7800GT? other than the fact that it has DX10?
