i just got this new computer with vista on it and im looking for a new card. right now i have an Nvidia 6150SE. its integrated...
__________________i dont know much about video cards but id love to learn more about them. from what ive read the 8800s are great and the 9?00s are even better. it would be awesome to get one of those but im on a budget, actually i dont even have the money yet but im saving up. i want to get something around 100$$$. hopefully under 100 which would making saving up for it much easier. -and please dont tell me to get a 200 or 300$ video card because for me its completely unrealistic. ill have a hard enough time getting 50$ let alone 100... ill be running BF2 or the BF2 mod Project Reality mostly. my 6150 can run low settings no problem and sometimes it can do OK in medium settings... to me medium looks amazing and id love to run atleast medium settings. low is just unbearable, i hate it. -to run medium settings no problem, what should i expect to spend on a card? -how much would it cost to run BF2 at all the highest settings? -what is an "in-between" card that you guys would recommend.? -what settings could i expect from a $100 dollar card in BF2? -do you guys need my comp. specs to make a better decision? this might have been a little vague or wandered from topic a little but i hope i made clear what i want. ive done a little research but the problem is i dont know what to look for.. im not done researching so please dont yell at me for "not researching" thanks guys

its understandable that you dont want to spend $200-$300 on a gpu.
i Was in the same boat,i honestly think this is you best option.. its a little over 100,but it is worth every penny. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130332 $110+free shipping. if that is over budget,i think your better off waiting to get a good deal on a used card. hope that helped. Edit:there is a good deal on a 8800 GTS,its a little better then the Gs, its going for $115+7 shipping after rebate. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130082 good luck ![]() 100 post!

Consider buying a used card in the for sale section. You can get a great bargain since lots of people are upgrading lately.

Try any
(whichever U find should do the trick) or an X1650 (PRO or XT). X1650PRO
to run Cysis quite well depending on your system specs. Search YouTube to see how well certain cards run on certain video games.
http://youtube.com/results?search_qu...0&search_type= U should add your system specs to your account. Check out mine. *look down*
