Default Freezing caused by GPU?

Hey this is my first post . I just built my computer a couple months ago, and within the last month I've tried overclocking a few components. I actually had my gpu overclocked a couple times, but never saved the settings.

For the past week, I've been having some problems while playing Team Fortress 2. Suddenly, my screen would freeze and the last sound I heard would go into a loop. After about 10-20 seconds, I minimize the game and find an error icon in bottom right hand corner (I haven't been able to read what the error says). A minute later, everything returns to normal, and I can just go back into my game. I'm wondering if theres any harmful damage that is being done and if this is a problem with the gpu (not overclocked) or the cpu.

Thanks.
