Can you try something?Unplug the psu w8 for the led to go off and then plug it back in,then try to boot.Tell me if that works.If it does i maybe able to help you out.

sometimes it works once, but then doesnt again...
never consistent.

Try making sure all of your components are all the way into the slot, and I'd try re-seating your CPU as well. Basically a full re-build. The only thing i could think of causing this is something is loose, and when it warms up something expands just enough to make contact.

if you have another graphics card try that, if it boots fine after being off all night then you know it is the 9800GTX

I know its the 9800GTX. my 8800GTS never did it.

I will try the 2nd slot option.

The nForce4 boards aren't 100% compatible with high powered PCI-Express 2.0 cards. In non-techie terms, they basically have issues powering on any PCI-Express 2.0 video adapter when booting up for the first time. This is due to the additional power that has to flow through the bus.
