The GTX 260 leads the 4870 in all the benchmarks i posted, except one of the 3dmark tests
Plus the GTX 260 has better features and capabilities!

if your looking at the p45 for overclocking, i've read all over the place your better off sticking with p35 BTW, i was thought the 4870 was awsome and owned all cards until i saw that tweaktown review so im not an Nvidia fanboy

and where did you get all that from? Tweaktown? If i made a website saying 6600GT is the best card, with flashy graphs and what not, would you believe that?

check out all the other sources the other members have listed, HD 4870 tends be stronger overall. Before i thought tweaktown was a good source, but they really botched the results on the 4800 series crossfire setup.

You said that there are the capabilities and features that GTX 260 has and the HD 4870 doesn't, what are they exactly?

the p35 is a good chipset, but you do know that the p45 has better crossfire performance for future crossfire plus broke some FSB records that the p35 didn't get close to. What does p35 offer that p45 doesn't?
