I got myself a AGP 6600GT 128mb that I have on my old 2600 Barton core + Asus mobo.

For an AGP card the 6600GT was/is quite a decent card... and it has ps 3 capability on a AGP slot

I remember I was so happy when I updated to PCI express. Much respect is still there for the AGP guys though.

Thanks

It's rough when u have a AGP 4x slot, trying to be a bigshot, and bottlenecked by ur processor.

I was using a regular FX5700 after failures with both the FX 5500, and the FX 5700LE (what was I thinking), then one last hoorah, was Wintec 2GB dual-channel DDR kit, and the Evga 7600 GT. I was going to get the BFG 7300 GT, but I said, no spend more money.

So $160 later, I wind up getting a P5N-E SLI motherboard for under $50 to do my own SLI build, and step up to PCI-E x16. I quote myself as this is a mid-year build, and next year I will build another monster for show and tell.

My wife has officially taken my AGP build.
