Default Graphic card upgrade for my system

Hello,

I'm new here.
I have a MSI P6N V2 MB, Q6700 and 2GB RAM 800 with a GF 8600GT 512mb. Now my monitor is a Viewsonic 19" at 1280x1024.

I want to upgrade my video board and I have 3 options:
GF9800GTX+
HD4850
HD4870

I run mainly Flight Simulator X what uses a lot of CPU, what should be a good video card to my system ?

Thanks so much,
Ulisses

Pretty much any of those would be good cards and play Flight Simulator X at at least fairly high FPS, but the best for the money would probably be the 4850.

I have to say the 4850 (I know broken record)... For the money (if your not a folder) it is the best card out right now...

If you are on a real budget the 8800series cards can now be found for less than $100 (I think) and offer a great current value for the buck... Just watch out they will quickly fall behind when DX 10.1 games start hitting the market...

I had the 8600gt before I purchased my 4850, and it was the best move I ever did. The increase will blow you away. Would recommend the Visiontek due to their warranty, and I haven't had a single problem. Best deal, and great card.

edit: and I think russian meant 4850 for the cheaper one instead of two 4870's.

The 4850 should be able to easily max every current game (Even Crysis) at that resolution, so I don't see the point in getting a 4870 for $100 more when it won't make any noticeable difference.

Based on what you have especially the LCD, I would go for the cheapest price one in your list.

Thanks,

The 4850 looks like a good deal, but the 9800GTX+ is about $ 20 more.
Anyway looks like the ATI has a better image quality and drivers shoud improve.
