Default Best GPU for folding?

Hey guys, which cards pulls the most PPD for folding? I previously had a 2900XT which was pants, stepped up to a 3870 which was meh, now I have the 8800GT which is awesome. It pulls around5K - 5.5K a day.

But if there is a better one I want in I can't currently afford a GTX series GPU so they are out of the question. So which GPU's can outscore mine on a PPD basis?

Rep + for informative answers.

oh and go with an nVidia card because right now there seems to be some sort of a problem folding on ATI cards...they get much lower PPD

I know you said you cant afford the gtx, but it is giving the most ppd im getting 7500+ at stock clock speeds, your 8800 is pulling pretty good ppd unless you grab a gtx 280 i doubt you will be able to get more.

From what I've seen it seems the very best bet now for folding/$/W would be the 9800GTX+. Thanks to the 55nm process tech it can reach even higher shader clocks, and shader clocks are the most important ones for folding.

Thanks for the linkys and info guys. Judging by that list Bowman I am thinking that I might step up to a 8800GTS (G92) which will pull about 6K. Then after that it would be the 9800GTX+ for about 6.5K

And yea, I realized ATI were not doing so good in the folding department Even the 4870 struggles to pull more than a 3870 on average

Rep + to you guys

Damn... I didn't know the 4870 was so bad folding wise. I was considering crossfiring some of them...
