You could get a 2.4GHz P4 system for the cost of that HD2400 from Wal-mart. I'd think about upgrading the system before the GPU.

Onboard is more than enough for what you are doing.

all you need now is some random agp card (maybe didn't say on the page could be back to the PCI problem again) and a copy of xp (if you plan on using windows)

I would recommend the Visiontek 2400.

I think Legendary likes that card. Its worth getting!

It looks nice, and it stays very cool ( 37c to 50c ) when playing any sort of game. But other then that, the performance is 50/50. It plays some of my games with ease, perfectly and even better then the 6200. But then the other half or a little more it plays like crap. Its a driver issue, not the card. And well until the driver issue is fix, the card sucks.
