Great review, this is really going to help me decide which card to go for. Many thanks!

One question though: Your Crysis benchmark was run with Dx9 rather than Dx10, and in 32bit rather than 64. Would running it in Dx10 and 64bit provide different results? And if so, would they give better or worse framerates?

dx10 and crysis = MUCH worse performance
64bit sadly didn't give any extra in crysis

Thanks for your reply, but doesn't dx10 provide better graphics in Crysis? I thought running it in dx9 limited some of the functions of Cryengine2. Not sure which functions, but i'm assuming things like advanced lighting and shaders. Any truth to that, or is my memory playing up?

But then I guess running Crysis in all its glory is still an impossible task for now.

the truth is you can ``hack`` your way to dx10 graphics in crysis, just google crysis dx 10 hack!

It looks 99% the same, just some of the lightening is different!

I can max out crysis ok, but when I get 15fps more avarge from the dx10 hack, and it looks 99% the same, I don't see why not
