I would go with the SLI gtx280, I prefer double slot solution for heat output.

Thanks guys reason for not wanting XFire is because currently have a 780i FTW motherboard, and I'm more of an Nvidia fan.

GTX280 SLI is a heckalot more expensive, but is much better

Quad-SLI is...eh.


Have you considered GTX260 216sp SLI, or is money really not an issue?

though it must be said, you would get a lot more performance if you sold your mobo and grabbed a Crossfire compatible one with 2 4870x2's

Money isn't an issue thats all. And as for the 4870 X2 Crossfire it sounds intriguing, but I'm gonna go with Nvidia with this build. Most likely going to purchase an ATI card for my next build and hopefully by then the 4870 X2 goes down in price
