The Radeon 9250 is better than the 5200 IMO (I was comparing the 9250 vs the 5700le when I was buying my PCI card).

well instead of a 5200 i have an agp geforce 4 ti 4600 and it whoops any 5200's a** I have it running stable at 625 core 705 memory and that's with VERY poor case cooling.

Btw i beleve there are 128 bit versons of this card but i can't find one.

But betwene the 9250 and the 5200 I'd go for the 9250.
