Hey all,
__________________Whenever I'm not gaming or watching a movie or so, I'm usually running a Folding@Home GPU client on my 8800GTS 320MB card. I went out yesterday, leaving it to run as usual but when I came back, I noticed that the entire system was frozen. No response to anything. I had to hit the reset button to make the system reboot. When I did that, the first thing I realized was some green vertical lines on the Rampage Formula screen and then some red ones in the post screen. When the Windows Vista load screen came up, there were some gray lines. After the load screen flicked off, the gray lines remained but then there was nothing else happening. The HDD activity LED went off and nothing else happened. I rebooted, reset, cold booted, I tried several things and nothing worked. I then swapped out the GTS for a "spare" 8400GS I had lying around and everything booted fine, no lines, no problems. Is my GTS dead??? Is there a solution to get it working (properly) again?? Please help!!!

Was it overclocked?
If it was, try running it at stock speeds. -FilluX

The fan is/was fine. I run it at 85% when I'm using the computer (for lower noise) and at 100% when I leave it folding.
__________________I did have it overclocked to 600/1500/1800 but I can't even get into Windows with it to change that. I booted with the 8400GS and I edited the EVGA Precision config file to adjust the settings to 500/1200/1600 at startup but I don't think that had any effect because it still can't boot in Windows.

Oh darn :/
This probably will not do any difference, but try by plugging the dvi cable into the second slot if you haven't done it already. -FilluX

I'll try that when I reboot.
