and i am after a new graphics card that will run in my pc giving me better video quality and overall better colour aswell.

I'm not sure what your power supply puts out.

There is an 8800gts available for your configuration (unless listed wrong)

You need a PCIe x16 (1.0) ie, probably won't say 1.0 but definately not 2.0.

There are also some ati solutions, x1950 (not sure on all numbers)

But upgrading to these cards will get you into the game at direct X 10.

How much ram do you have in your rig?

Try to fill out your system specs if possible and users can help you further.

Only reason I'm assuming UK is because they have sold Packard Bell here in years, and the PC maker website.

How long do you want this thing to last? What games would you like to play that you cannot currently, etc.
